Letter from the President of Johnswear

Hey Everyone,

Long time no see….

We here at Johnswear are really excited to be back! Being the “little guy” if you will… we’ve needed some time to regroup from our growing pains and now we’re back armed with our book of lessons learned and look forward to the challenges ahead of making Hockey Johns even more fun to wear!!

Speaking of fun… we have several new and exciting lines that we will be launching this year…
Did you ever think you’d see a G.I. Johns or for those of you who just cant get enough sleep… Pajama Johns…
Yes… it’s true and we’re looking forward to so much more! So stay tuned… who would’ve thunk you could have this much fun getting dressed for hockey! How cool is that…

By the way… Hockey Johns are now available in the new NHL Style! Oh and for all you Ladies please remember the Johns come in a very hot pink and black sock combination. You go girl!

Now I’d like to take this moment to reach out and give thanks to some special people…

The first being Hockey Mom’s… Jennifer Madden and Jackie Segall from the Wellesley Youth Hockey Organization out of Wellesley MA. for all their help in introducing Hockey Johns to their program.  We can’t thank Jennifer Madden enough for all of her hard work and dedication!  Thank you Jennifer and God Bless.

The next would be to Kevin Mann and the Chicago Mission for all their support. Kevin has taken it upon himself to personally help me spread the word about Hockey Johns.., Thank you and God Bless.

Speaking of Kevin, Kevin will be hosting his annual Nike Bauer Tournament at Seven Bridges Ice Arena right here in Woodridge,IL. The Nike Bauer Tournament is one of the largest tournaments with over 400 teams from around the world!  I hope you can make it… I know we will… so stop by our booth on November 3rd to say hi…

As well we want to reach out and give a special thanks to Hockey Mom’s & Dad’s Jackie & Scott Rogers, Steve Smith, Jackie & Scott Rogers from the Mission U14′s  from the Mission’s Girl’s U14′s and Sue Tomasek from the Girl’s U12′s for all their help in spreading the word… can’t say thanks enough…

Oh by the way… if you’re looking for and excuse to get away to Vegas? Well we aim to please… so here it is… We will be attending Doug Johnson’s Annual Let’s Play Hockey International Expo at the Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas, Nevada. on October 16th and 17th. How fun is that going to be! So come on by… here’s your excuse!

To close this letter I’d like to give a special thanks to all of you who have supported Hockey Johns over these years…Like any other “little guy” we’ve had to fight our battles… it’s because of you… those of you that understand that Velcro doesn’t last and that it’s more of a pain… those of you who understand that Hockey Johns is so much more than just a pair of socks… those of you who understand that if you make something here in Chicago,USA.. it’s going to cost more…to you we say thank you and God Bless.
